How do I buy a Gift Card?

We offer two different kinds of gift cards: Online Gift Cards or Store Gift Cards. An Online Gift Card will be emailed to you or the recipient depending on which email address you enter at checkout. A Store Gift Card will be shipped directly to the recipient.

What's the difference between an Online Gift Card and a Store Gift Card?

Unfortunately at this stage, we're unable to offer gift cards which will work across both our stores and our website.To allow customers to choose their preferred way to shop, we've created a Store Gift Card that can be used in our physical stores and an Online Gift Card that can be used on our website.

Store Gift Cards are a physical voucher which will be shipped to the recipient. Online Gift Cards are electronic and will be emailed to you after purchase.

Can I change my Store Gift Card to an Online Gift Card and vice versa?

It is possible to change your Store Gift Card to an Online Gift Card and vice versa. Please email our online team at info@kapa.nz to convert your Gift Card.

Can I purchase a different value than the options provided?

Unfortunately, we can only offer the value options provided. However, you can select multiple different values to create the total you would like to give.

For Store Gift Cards, if you purchase a combination of values, we will combine this into a single Store Gift Card (up to the value of $999.00).

For Online Gift Cards, if you purchase a combination of values, this will be emailed to you as separate vouchers. While we are unable to combine the individual amounts into a single voucher, multiple Gift Cards can be redeemed at checkout.

Can I add a gift note?

We are happy to gift wrap and add a gift note to Store Gift Cards on request. Just add an order note when you checkout with your message.

Unfortunately we're unable to add a gift note to an Online Gift Card. Online Gift Cards are emailed to the email address provided at checkout. If you would like to add a note, we recommend having the Online Gift Card emailed to you and then you can forward the email onto the recipient with your own message.

How do I redeem an Online Gift Card?

Your Online Gift Card will be emailed to you. This email will contain a 16 digit Gift Card number and instructions on how to redeem the Gift Card. To redeem your voucher, simply enter the Gift Card number at checkout.

How do I redeem a Store Gift Card?

You can redeem your Store Gift Card at any of our Queenstown stores. Simply present your Gift Card at checkout to redeem.

You can use your Store Gift Card at any of the following locations:

Kapa, Queenstown Airport
Pop Up, The Market Building in Queenstown Central Shopping Centre
Mooch, Queenstown Central Shopping Centre (next to Kmart)
That Store, Remarkable Park Shopping Centre

When does my Gift Card expire?

Our Gift Cards (both Store & Online) have no expiry date.
