The Chunky Artists Series supports emerging artists, Meghan Geliza Jackson is an Auckland-based visual and installation artist. Her creations are visual meditations inspired by nature, the universe and the rising power feminine principle. She paints as a way of finding beauty, serenity and play amidst the overwhelm of this modern world.
Her paintings and installations explore the concept of oneness through sacred geometry, universal philosophies, ancient feminine wisdom lineages and playful dichotomies from within nature and humans. In her work, she aims to convey a sense of connection; be it to one's internal world or to nature and the universe at large. Meghan has exhibited and worked on commissions in New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Italy, USA and the UK. Her work has manifested as paintings, fine art prints, murals and participatory public installations.
