A small forest dwelling songbird with a canary yellow head, the Mohua is native to the South Island of Aotearoa and is featured on the New Zealand $100 note. Early settlers called the ‘bush canary’ because of it's bright colouring and melodic song. Living in small, isolated populations, this species is currently classified as “At risk – declining”.

This stunningly crafted cast glass Mohua/Yellowhead is created by the incredible glass studio, Luke Jacomb Studio. It has a screw in the back so it can easily be screwed directly into your wall. Looks beautiful alone or as part of a collection.
