The Peugeot Chateauneuf Salt Mill is a classic mill with extras. The stainless steel trim modernises the traditional shape and the latest "U" select PEUGEOT innovation allows you to choose the exact degree of fineness or coarseness. This mill has the innovative Peugeot "U Select" mechanism which allows you to choose the exact degree of fineness or coarseness you require. You just turn the collar at the base of the mill. There are six pre-set positions but you can select any degree between these pre-sets.

Unlike other manufacturers Peugeot designs a different grinding mechanism for salt and pepper. The pepper mechanism is made of case-hardened steel for higher, more consistent output with fewer turns. Other manufacturers claim that a ceramic mechanism will last longer, Peugeot has the highest level of confidence that it's steel mechanism will not only out perform the competition but also out last and backs this up with a lifetime warranty on the grinding mechanism.
